Jim Comerford graduated from college in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics. His first professional career was launched twelve days later when he boarded a plane for Yorktown, Virginia, where he was later commissioned an Ensign in the U.S. Coast Guard. He received an MBA from Catholic University of America while on active duty and holds numerous military awards. He is a Vietnam and Desert Storm veteran and attained the rank of Captain before retiring.
After leaving the Coast Guard, he became Marine Superintendent of a fleet of cargo ships for Ford Motor Company. In May of 1989, Jim accepted a position as Region Director for six Midwestern states with a small Federal Agency. In 1992, he resigned his position and purchased a small manufacturing business that was a direct supplier to the new home and remodeling industry.
Jim got his first real estate license in 1973 and has been directly or indirectly involve in the real estate industry ever since. He sold his manufacturing business in 1996 and actively became involved in the real estate marketing industry. Ranked in the top one percent of realtors in the United States for the past three years, he continues to set new sales levels and has also gained a broker?s license.
Jim enjoys real estate and works very hard for all his clients, as evidenced by his high level of performance and success.
